Innopreneurs Startup Contest (12th Edition) will be spread across 8 months with 50+ pitching rounds across the Nation. The top winners of each of these rounds will be promoted to Top 150 league who then will compete in the pre-finale & finale rounds for the prizes and other benefits.

Innopreneurs Idea Contest is a subset of Startup Contest, wherein the potential ideas who couldn't get the chance to pitch in the Startup Contest would be identified to pitch in the idea contest which will have 50+ pitching rounds across 6-8 months in parallel to the startup contest. Idea Contest will have its own separate rewards and the top winners of idea contests will be get the entry in the pre-finale of startup contest.

All of such rounds in Startup & Idea Contest will be accepting entries in the following mentioned tracks.

Idea Contest and Startup Contest are 2 different avenues at Innopreneurs platform. Based on the stage, the entries are segregated into Startup contest & Idea contest.

The participants can participate by following the simple process mentioned below.

Go to the Innopreneurs Startup Contest page and click on Register / Apply Now button
Fill the preliminary registration form for the contest
Proceed ahead with filling the detailed registration form
Bingo! You're now registered. Your entry has been forwarded to the screening process, you will be notified if you are selected for the pitching

Note: If the Startup / Idea is selected for the pitching, the same needs to proceed ahead with depositing INR 799 (Indian Residents) / $15 USD (Outside India Participants) as the pitching fee for Startup Contest and INR 399 (Indian Residents) / $10 USD (Outside India Participants) for the Idea Contest.

In this edition the funding support of INR 5 Cr ( through funding partners )and the prizes worth Rs. 50 Lakhs (Cash + Vouchers + Credits) are available through partners for the contest. There are many incubation, mentoring & accelerations opportunities available through contest activities.

In addition to this, Startups coming to this platform become part of one of the largest startup ecosystem existing in India since 2013. Startups get multiple avenues to collaborate, build team & network with other startups. Top 100 startups gets a solid brand positioning & unparallel recognition at one of the biggest and oldest platforms in the country.

MVP - The minimum viable product is that version of a new product a team uses to collect the maximum amount of validated learning about customers with the least effort.

POC - A proof of concept (POC) is a demonstration, the purpose of which is to verify that certain concepts or theories have the potential for real-world application. POC is therefore a prototype that is designed to determine feasibility, but does not represent deliverables.

No, enrolling in Innopreneurs Startup Contest is completely free. However, if you're selected under Top 500 startups/ Ideas for pitching in any of our preliminary pitching rounds, you would need to pay a nominal commitment fee of INR 999 (Indian Startups) or $15 USD (International Startups) for Startup & Idea Contest.

This commitment fee is primarily being charged for encouraging committed participants to join as well as cover the basic costs involved in pitching rounds and award ceremony.
