Lemon Ideas presents the MGI Ideathon – a dynamic Idea & Innovation contest hosted on the Innopreneurs platform. This event invites aspiring entrepreneurs, innovators, change-makers, students, and alumni from MGI to pitch their startup ideas. The MGI-Ideathon is designed to create a pipeline of potential startups for MGI while igniting a passion for entrepreneurship and innovation among participants. Additionally, participants will benefit from training and mentoring provided by the Lemon School of Entrepreneurship. The top teams will gain entry into the prestigious global startup contest, joining the top 100 cohort organized by Lemon Ideas.

Terms & Conditions
By registering for the MGI Ideathon, you agree to adhere to the rules and regulations set forth by Lemon Ideas and Meghe Group of Institutions (MGI). The following terms govern your participation in the competition:

Eligibility Criteria

The Ideathon is open to all students and alumni of MGI institutions, including YCCE and DMIHER.

Each team must consist upto 4 members. Individual participation is also acceptable.

All team members who are student/alumnus of MGI must be registered participants of the MGI Ideathon (single team registration).

Team Formation
-
Each team can consist of members from the same or different colleges across DMIHER Wardha & YCCE Nagpur, but one person cannot be part of more than two teams.

Teams must register with the correct number of participants (1-4 members). Teams with more than 4 members will not be eligible for participation.

Contest Rewards
-
A total prize pool of INR 5 Lakhs+ is available, which includes a combination of cash rewards and non-monetary benefits like mentoring, incubation support, networking opportunities, and business development resources.

The cash component will be disbursed as a part of the expenditure to help winners kickstart work on idea or grow their ventures.

Seed Funding

The Top 10 teams will be eligible for seed funding from MGI.

A total of INR 50 Lakhs in seed funding is available for deserving ones among the top 10 teams, based on the potential and scalability of their ideas, subject to approval by the MGI board and the authorized panel consisting of experts from Lemon Ideas and MGI

Submission Guidelines

All submissions must be original and created by the team. Any form of plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification.

Teams are required to submit their proposals within the designated deadlines. Late submissions will not be considered unless approved under special circumstances by the MGI Ideathon team.

Judging Criteria

Projects will be evaluated on innovation, feasibility, scalability, sustainability, and impact potential.

The decision of the judging panel will be final and binding. No disputes regarding the evaluation process will be entertained.

Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to maintain professional behavior throughout the Ideathon.

Any form of misconduct, including cheating, falsification of data, or inappropriate behavior, will lead to disqualification of the team.

Changes to Terms

MGI Ideathon team reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time before the event. Any updates will be communicated to registered participants in a timely manner.

MGI Ideathon and its associated partners will not be liable for any claims, losses, or damages arising from participation in the Ideathon.
